Promise of iPod Could Lead to Abduction or Worse

I love the idea of using the web as a host for fabulous learning and communication tools. At the same time, we must be diligent in our efforts to protect students.

Need more evidence of the need to educate children about the dangers of the net? Look no further. A man in Boise, Idaho promised, via craigslist, a free iPod to anyone who showed up to get it. Fortunately, someone got suspicious and the police showed up instead.
